This recipe is simple with 3 ingredients. 1 pound of sausage, 1 pound of cheddar cheese, and 2 cups of Bisquick or Jiffy baking mix.
First, preheat your oven to 350.
Take all three ingredients and put them in a bowl, then mix. I used my hands to mix it together.
Once it's all mixed, roll it into balls. The recipe call for walnut size balls but I didn't make mine perfect.
You can make these ahead of time, just wrap them in plastic wrap and put them in the fridge.
If you want the grease to drain off, I suggest placing them onto a wire cooling rack and then into a rimmed baking sheet. I wrapped my wire wrack in aluminum foil and poked holes in it (I don't suggest that because mine stuck >_<). Spray the wire rack or baking sheet with cooking spray (I forgot this step).
Place the sausage palls onto the baking sheet or wire rack. Mine were close together, you may want to spread yours out more, possibly use two baking sheets.
Place them in your oven. The recipe says to bake for 20 to 25 minutes, but I had to cook mine closer to 30 minutes.
And enjoy the finished product!
